Tension in Abuja as Suspected Boko Haram Suicide Bomber Invades Gwagwalada

Reports reaching us state that operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have averted a massive blood-bath through the timely arrest of a female suicide bomber suspected to be linked with Boko Haram.

Unconfirmed reports have it that policemen attached to the Gwagwalada Di­visional Headquarters have nabbed one Miss Blessing, a suicide bombing suspect who intelligently concealed explosive devices in her dress while she posed as a pregnant woman to avoid prying eyes, according to The Authority.

The incident that has caused serious panic since on Monday, the 27th of June, 2016 occurred at the Wazobia Motor Park, Dagiri, Gwagwalada Area Council about 9:00 am.

According to an eyewitness, the lady who confessed to be 30-years-old stormed the area dressed in a Muslim veil and was walking aimless before a vigilant man stopped her for interrogation.

The suspect was nervous when she was invited and decided to run away, removing the con­tents wrapped in her stomach when people began to suspect it should be parcel of bomb.

The police is yet to release an official statement concerning the development which might affect the ease of movement at public places in the capital of Nigeria.
