Man Strangles And Buries His Day Old Baby For Being A Girl

 

A 35-year-old man, Bello Rabiu has strangled his one day old baby and buried her body in his compound after she was given birth to by wife, Fatima Bello. Rabiu got angry that the baby he eagerly expected to be a boy, turned out otherwise.

He has since been arrested by the police. Police prosecuting officer, Hashimu Musa, told the court where Rabiu was arraigned to that Rabiu resides in Dankwaro village of Charanchi LGA of Katsina State. The presiding  judge, Nafisa Bagiwa, ordered him to be remanded in prison and adjourned the case to June 22 for continuation. Only God knows when some men will learn that they determine the sex of a child..(sighs).
